Our Worship Services
Sunday Traditional Worship
- Year-round in our church sanctuary at 9:00 a.m.
- Our traditional worship utilizes a liturgical format with roots that go back to the second and third centuries. Traditional organ music accompanies the congregation in the chanted portions of the liturgy and the hymns. The rich heritage of this service, combined with the deep truths of ancient hymns, are for some a much-needed anchor in the seas of change. Children are encouraged to pick up an activity bag as they enter the sanctuary.
Saturday Contemporary Worship
- September through May the Saturday the service is held at 5:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary at 2888 W. Houghton Lake Dr.
- Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, is held outdoors at 7:00 p.m. at “The Garden”, 3880 S Reserve Rd., Houghton Lake, MI 48629. It is just a couple of miles away. Feel free to bring a lawn chair or remain in your vehicle.
- The upbeat music and the casual atmosphere remind us that God comes to us in the ordinary things. The timeless truths of God's Word are shared with the participants through easy-to-sing music and modern imagery. Casual dress is the norm for this service. Children are encouraged to pick up an activity bag as they enter the sanctuary.
